I just saw a post that said “Abolish gender ROLES not gender IDENTITY”

I cannot even fathom how absurd this is

Please explain to me what gender identity is, because I’m pretty fucking sure it has everything to do with what gender role you “identify”…

The horrible dichotomy of having to prove you’re disabled/sick enough but not too disabled/sick. #AcademicAbleism

-IsaJennie ‏@igmurray 15h

This is about the burden of disabilities, mental illnesses, and chronic illnesses in academia but I’m guessing it applies to pretty much any setting where one can request services for disabilities.  Or just life in general.

American witches and wizards entering an exchange program.

American witches and wizards arguing with British witches and wizards about sports

Quidditch being a whole different sport in America with different balls and full body checks

Salem offering…

Fairytales tell, as their labels imply,
stories of magic, of creatures that fly
With giants and dragons and ogres and elves
And inanimate objects that speak for themselves
There’s romance and danger and plotting of schemes
There’s good guys and bad guys and some guys in-between
A fairytale also reveals some sort of truth
The perils of choices we make in our youth
But our story today is different in theme
For our hero had no choice - or so it would seem
It starts with a fairy bestowing a spell
This one’s a baby named Ella of Frell.

living with a chronic illness is shitty because my explanation for why I missed school or couldn’t go to a social event is always “I was sick” and people get tired of that really quickly

"you were sick last week too"
yes I was sick last week, I am sick this week, I will be sick next week and I will possibly be sick forever, deal with it
